Sen. Obama’s victory speech after the Iowa caucuses

LINK:  Sen. Obama’s victory speech after the Iowa caucuses, January 3, 2008

Context:

After eleven months of campaigning, Barack Obama won the Iowa caucuses with 37 percent of the vote.  Winning in Iowa was central to the campaign’s strategy for getting the Democratic nomination.  This victory caused many voters (African Americans especially) to take Obama’s candidacy more seriously.  It also seemed to give his candidacy significant momentum going into the New Hampshire primary a week later.
