Obama’s nuclear nonproliferation speech in Prague

With this speech, Obama laid out one of the major elements of his foreign policy agenda: depriving terrorists of access to nuclear weapons and reinvigorating the world’s nuclear nonproliferation regime. As senator, Obama had visited several unsecured nuclear and biological weapons sites in the former Soviet Union and was appalled at how unguarded and unprotected they were.
