Obama’s Jefferson-Jackson Dinner speech

LINK: Sen. Obama’s address to the Iowa Democratic Party’s Jefferson Jackson Dinner, Des Moines, IO, November 10, 2007.  Note: His speech comes about 80% of the way through the clip.

Context:
This speech represented a major turning point in the campaign. Up to this point, Obama trailed Hillary Clinton by double digits in most Iowa polls, and through most of the summer and early fall he seemed to be making no progress. With this speech, however, he seemed to find his rhythm, and from this point his campaign gained steady momentum heading towards the Iowa caucuses that would take place two months later.
